Who knows anything about the model 16-4 Dearborn
corn pickers? Had 2 of them given to me. 1 used until about 10 years ago and shedded, and one that set outside for parts. The parts machine is complete as nothing was ever used off of it. Are they worth putting any money into or should I go see the scrap man?? I don't grow corn as of yet(I'm one of those hobby hay farmers) but would like to put out about 5 acers in the near future.

thanks in advance!!

I wouldn't sink hardly any $ into these pickers. If there is somebody seeking a full-line of Ford implements to restore He may be interested if you are patient. I DEFINITLY WOULDN'T SCRAP THEM, they are rare. With 5 acres of corn to pick since you have a parts machine(couldn't do without) you may get away with picking the corn a season or two. Actually it's a Woods brothers isn't it? These aren't the best pickers and the left-hand cut is hard to get used to.
