I am looking for parts for a Danuser post driver. Specifically for roller guide bearings. Does anyone know where I might find them?

I have a cousin who forgot and reached in to straighted a post at the wrong time and had 3 fingers "mashed" off. The remains of these fingers stayed in his glove when we removed the glove. Very unplesant, and he had a 3 day stay hospital bill too.

Just BE CAREFUL!

i use a cheap post level that harbor freight sells. it is made in the shape of angle iron with bubble levels on both legs. set the level against the drop box while leveling. lets me get side to side and front to back at the same time. i sharpen post and try to do fencing in late fall when the ground has been wet for some time(post drive easer).

The driver has adjustments to get the post vertical. The post should be pointed at the bottom, make sure the point is centered or it won't drive in straight.

The very first thing you want to do is bar your self a pilot hole, dig a hole with a long steel bar where you wanna put the post, dig in about a foot or more, this helps get the post started and helps straigten the post.

once you got it started use your tilt adjusters to straighten up the post if it starts to go crocked,

NEVER HOLD THE POST WITH YOUR HANDS, always use the post holder while driving the post into the ground, IF your ponder wasn't supplied with one, get one or make one. All it has to be is a foot long piece of bar with a piece of angle iron welded on the end. SAFTY FIRST

Enjoy pounding those posts in with the pounder, you will never wanna pound an other post by hand.
G- luck
