First time on this site, it's great! I was wondering if anyone still runs or even remembers or knows someone using a Case corn planter? It's a rare site around here. Were they a decent planter? I bet parts come only off of other planters. I have seen a few Oliver planters that seem pretty Odd-ball too. Seems like the only Case implement that a guy can use these days and get parts for is a Plow or Disk and maybe a cultivator. I am used to running a 6-row AC.

Bought a 2 row at an auction a couple of years back, and plan on trying it out this summer behind my VAC for sweet corn. Any tips? Also would like to find checkwire for it.

I ran a 3-point mounted 4 row Case planter until, hum, 3 years ago? It was outfitted for check corn once upon a time. I was using it on a 300 IH tractor with fast hitch, which made for interesting hook-ups. :)

Still have the pieces, and a parts machine.

I had a neighbor that was all Case. I definitely remember the 4-row planter he used. Have also seen a couple of Case balers. As he used nothing but Case, it must of worked pretty good for him, he farmed 200 acres of hill ground.
