Hydraulic Question

I have a Freeman front loader on my 3000 that uses a control valve mounted on top of the transmission. The lift cylinders are single acting, and i want to convert to dual acting, which requires a new control valve. The Ford dealer says I need a K1 valve kit, and it costs over $500. Is this the valve I need, and if so, does anyone know of a source where I can buy either a Ford or an aftermarket valve for a better price than this? I can email pictures of the valve if needed.
Thanks,
Jim

No, I am currently running off the tractor pump. It's pretty slow, but for what I do it's adequate. I am considering changing to some type of external pump, but am not sure how to do it. Any comments/suggestions?
