I suggest doing a search on this because there was a similar question posted here not to long ago on the same thing.

Hope this helps!

Karl

I think Wes is trying to get around the 'no ads' rule here by pointing out his ad, I believe he's the one who mentioned it last time also. No skin off my nose, but bending the rules a bit I'd say. Hope we don't see this same message every single week, since it looks like he's manufaturing them & not just trying to sell one...

I don't think he will move many at that price anyway.

I hope you have good insurance. While they work good, they can be dangerous. Going downhill with low tongue weight, they can ride up & really do some damage. I run my Ford 960 with a 3-pt hitch on it, and I really gotta think on my hills, to keep the hitch LOW.

You gave me a good idea for my welder, so I'm not mad at you. :) I just find spam really irritating, and if you plan on mentioning this every single week, I think that would be more irritating than helpful. You've got it in the classifieds where it belongs. Let's leave it there. (But I'm no internet god, so that's just a simple dirt farmer's opinion. :)

In Northern Tool's catalog they have one for $199.00 I just got the catalog yesterday and has a lot of good stuff that wasn't in previous catalogs. They even have a compact tractor. They also have a few "gadjets" and little accesseries for the yuppies. They have a "ATV" trailer about the size of a wheelbarrow and want $279 for it. That's crazy they want that much for it just because it says "ATV" on it. I think it's at northerntool.com. I would make my own hitch for pulling trailers with a tractor before I would buy one but some people can't weld so it would be a good thing to have. Seems quite expensive for a couple of slabs of steel and a reciever. A regular Reese hitch would cost less.

Just a comment on that ATV cart / trailer. It has high speed axel, wheels, and tires with 50 MPH speed ratings. Guess they figure those things really can fly and have been know to overheat spindles on regular garden tractor carts. I still think they are high priced.

These hitches may need braces to eliminate up and down movement in some situations. If a trailer becomes tail heavy, perhaps during loading/unloading, this hitch will rise up, whereas a fixed drawbar will not. When going dowhill with a loaded trailer, these hitches will also sometimes ride up. Use braces or wear diapers.
