I just bought a 1010 for next year. Let's keep in touch and take notes. Mine is pretty rusty, and missing a part or two, but seems to be all there, and I paid too much :-( Don't we all? If I get a chance, I might try it out on a little third crop this year. Depends on Ma Nature.

I had a 1010. They are good wagons except when dumping a stack I had a lot of trouble getting away since they lack push off feet. A 1012 would have these. If all you plan to do is single unload they are ok. I went to a 1034 (for single unload over a 1033)and have used it once. I can do 500 per day rake, bale, stack on a 20 minute haul with a 1010 and 1500 with the 1034. Next year I hope to add a 1049S or 1068, depends on cash flow. Good luck. Email if you have questions.

I haven't worked with the 1010, but have been told to stay away from them. The two wide stacks are hard to stay together when stacking. The smaller wagon will only keep up with a smaller baler and relatively short hauling distances. We have a S1049. We can do 2000 small squares 15 miles away on a good day, without any problems. It is three wide, and makes a beautiful stack. If you are going short distances, small amounts of hay, and might be restacking the hay, the 1010 may not be a bad idea.

I'm looking at it mainly because I don't do much hay and when I do, its by myself.. this wagon has the single bale unload feature so I thinkit should work out for me. I'm not going to stack the hay.
