I've recently got a bush-hog on which the identifying plate states that it is a Rotary Mower Cutter made by the Liston Corp.
Can't find them on the I-net - anyone know anything about these machines?

Thanks
Deryk

Thanks to the group - I contacted Bush Hog with some pictures and the data I gleaned from the ID tag, and am told that she is a Lilliston 7-SIX rotary mower, series o100.
They are photo-copying a manual and that will get me going.

Cheers

I have used one of these cutters for many years, they are well built, I get my parts at my Bush Hog dealer. Good luck.

Jimbo and Steve,

Many thanks - the aluminium ID plate had been painted over, and in spite of the ages it took to lift the mess I still had trouble seeing the detail on the plate. March is an iffy month to be without a shed, so I froze my tush getting things clean (did have an inquisitive mouse looking on from its nest in the gear box!)

The Lilston Co. I believe was purchased by BUSH HOG Corp. several years back. This would be the Lilston that made peanut combines and rolling cultivators. If you need parts you might try Modern Mfg. in Beaumont, TX. they have lots of info on models no longer in production.

Jimbo is right. Lilliston was purchased by Bush Hog several years ago. I would say 15 to 20 years ago. They made quality products.
