I have a 52 Mineapolis Moline model U. So far I am limited to pull behind implements because all it has is a kind of pivoting hitch bar. Is there an after market three point hitch available? Northern sells a 3 point quick hitch would it fit? How hard is it to use. My tractor also boils over after I have worked it hard. I was told this was normal- that it did not have a pressurized cooling system. I use my tractor and would like to expand its abilities.

I dont think a 3 point hitch can be put on used to have a U, If it boils you have major problems cloged radiator or block or bad water pump but boiling is not normal, corect that boiling befor you do any more damage than is already done.

You might try contacting Saginaw County Tractor Parts. They sell aftermarket 3-point hitches, but I don't know if they have a model that would work on your tractor.

You need to have a 3-point already on the tractor in order to use a quick-hitch. A quick-hitch is just an accessory to allow you to hook up 3-point equipment without getting off the tractor (theoretically, anyway).
