Last year a friend of mine let me cut the hay on his place as he was in the process of moving. This year the new owners have asked me if I would cut the hay for them .I am wondering what some of you would charge for mowing ,rraking , square baling with my equipment and I would supply fuel and twine. They mentioned shares but I am not interested in that as I have enough of my own and also another place avail . to me just for the cutting and I would lack storage, also a tough haul uphill from this place to mine. While I'm at it what do some of you charge for other customwork such as brush hogging . I usually try to get $35-$50/hr for brush hogging depending on how hard of cuting itis .I have a few customers I mow fields and pastures for every year and price by the job with those figures for a guideline(6' cutter). Thanks for your replies.
