I got a 2 point fast-hitch IH-sickle mower,and I was wondering how hard it would be to confert it to a three point hitch????? ??? Has anybody ever done it??

Most times if you wait long enough you can sell that old 2 point sickle mower for more than you would pay for an old three point. Finding good working fast hitch implements is getting harder and harder any more.

From looking at the previous posts, you might not have to wait that long!

Takes some cutting & welding, but not too hard I suppose. You'll have to keep the pto length right, 3-points often raise more so don't bust anything.

However, I too wouldn't mind having a 2-point, these items are getting a little rare. Before destroying the 2-point, consider selling it & getting a real 3-point, of which there are many.
