i am attempting to remove the crank arm(which attaches to the plunger) from the main transmission. i have removed the two bolts which run through the split collar on the arm but cannot budge the arm. the crank arm also has a woodruff key. have attempted to pry it off but afraid of breaking the sprocket behind it. have also attempted to drive it off with a hammer. the crank arm is inside the hay chamber and one cannot use a gear puller- tolerence is too tight. it looks like someone has used a wedge in the split collar in the past. any ideas would be much appreciated. ps, also tried to use a gear puller to remove the pin instead-no luck. will have to use a hydraulic press i'll bet, once arm is removed. thx.
