Does anyone have any information on Grimm Tedders? I have just recently acquired an old tedder. There is no tags on it. I believe it is a Grimm Tedder. I would like to find pictures or some sort of literature.

There parts man laughed when I told him that. I broke a gear and thought I couldn,t get one but a friend gave me there #. Good luck. Rick

Craig is right, although with a typo - Rutland, VT

The Grimm tedder I used to use was a reel type, with 4 bars parallel to the ground, with rows of teeth on each bar. It worked great in Timothy hay, but wasn't so good in hays that tended to clump, like clover and vetch. It is better on smoother ground, as it doesn't reach down into dips very well. We used to run it on a Farmall Super C, and used the 2-pt to raise and lower the height. My boss would tell me to drive it as fast as I dared (knowing that I'm not apt to beat on it too bad). Seems like we greased it well and often, and only had to replace teeth every now and then.

Hey, just in case anyone out there is still acquiring Grimm Tedders...

I just did, and I'm getting ready to put it to work. By the way, the manufacturer is GH Grimm Company, 2 Pine St., Rutland, Vermont, 05701. Phone 802-775-5411.
