Converting IH-440 Bailer from wire to twine?

Is this possible? Does anyone know what models are interchangable? 440 and 430 look alot alike.

At the very, very least you will have to remove the twisters and install a complete knotter assembly. The needles may or maynot be the same. Then most wire balers have a much different box of wire holder than the holder for twine balls.

Wire balers often have a different drive setup for the twisters that is not compatible with a twine knotter. Save yourself a headache and find a twine baler.
