My boyfriend bought me a tractor for my birthday. It is a 1940 Case. I am new to the antiqe tractor world and dont know how to identify the model befor i begin restorations. It is very similar to the CS shown on this web site. Its fenders really come up and round over the tires more, and the seat is a bit different. The seat is attatched to a spring up under the stearing area, like a teeder toder. It has a hand crank in the front, but the crank is way behind the front tire set up. Like impossable to get to! The lettering with CASE's name is written up and down rather than across the front. The stearing arm comes down the top of the left side of the tractor. Do yall know what this model could be?

Think your boyfriend would mind if I took "it" for a ride?
