I saw a NH 1495 windrower advertised in the paper for what looked like a reasonable price. It was about $3500 i called the guy and got a picture the sheet metal was fair and it wasnt rusted to bad but had definately been used and since it had no ac like alot of the others they took out one side window. Can anyone give me any info on these SP windrowers and give any advice about the price.
The guy also had NH 415 baler. it looked to be pretty new but i hadnt heard of that number before He wanted about $1500 for that.
Any information would be helpful thanks

AJZ somebody must have put the wrong numbers on the baler.

The NH 415 is a disc mower and conditioner, it's called a NH 415 MOCO that was made from 1992 to 1995.

The 1495 is a self propelled MOCO and windrower combo made from 1975 to 1985.

I am in SE Texas and around here he would be about $1500 to $2000 too high on the 1495, unless it has been completely redone and is'nt wore out, but the 415 would be a really good deal if it's in pretty fair shape.

You're welcome. That's better on the number. Yep it's a sqaure baler built from 77 to 82.

If it's in good shape that would be a good deal around here. Parts are cheaper around here for a NH and anybody can work on them with the manuals and just a little mechanical ability.

JD and Case are the PITA brands around here. They both came down with Walmart syndrome. They don't know squat about their own products, won't keep any inventory and hire in minimum wage school kids that say "Huh? Wow Dude" when you tell them what you need.
