Have a Ford 801 and a 5 foot Razorback Brush Hog Problem:mower swings side to side on hitch. Have considered adding outside chains to 3 point arms to steady the mower. Good Idea? I live on a hill and am constantly cutting at an angle and I want to keep stress off the pto shaft.Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks
Keith

DO you have stabalizer bars. They hook on both sides of the tractor on the same place the lift arms attach and under the belly of the tractor. Yuo can get them at any tractor supply store. They are not all that hard on the wallet and can help you espicially on a hill

These are a lot better than chains, I have them on my 960 Ford. I need to take pictures & e-mail to someone from here, if you want pics shoot me an e-mail....
