Hope someone knows what a swathboard is for. The one on this one is gone, is it real important and if so does anyone know what the deminsions are I might be able to make one. Also the grass stick is missing. I have tore it all apart and plan on getting it working again. I have been to farm&fleet and a bearing co. to get replacement u-joints for the drive shaft but can not locate the right size, does anyone know where i can find them? any help would be appriciated. Boy I read this forum all the time and there is some real characters here i really enjoy all the stuff.
Thanks again.

I have the 14-16 which it the same thing with a 7ft cutter bar. I had a heck of a time trying to find the 7/8" square parts for the PTO so i upped it to the smallest size avail. I believe it was a 1" sq. I see now some places have the 7/8's but am not going to convert back. Good luck

thanks for the reply. question if you changed the drvieshaft size how did you change the one that is right off the sickle? It is made right on the splined shaft that goes through the first bearing box. I see that the dust cover is welded in 4 places and I can remove it but the u-joint and shaft are made as one piece i believe. oh, do you have the swathboard on your sickle? Thanks.
