Need informatin on Ford series 915, component 22-DAF-560 finish mower. Bought this animal at a auction, it had been "rigged" to work on a 3 pt hitch. I want to use it as a belly mower. It has what appears to be a standard Ford 90 degree belt gearbox with a big v belt pulley and tensioner that drives it. Believe I can bolt the belt drive right on my 9n pto turned down and pivot the mower from the staybar pins with a couple of channel irons. Does anybody know what this mower was intended for and and have info on it?

Jim - I just acquired a Ford 915 mower from my uncle. This one had been rigged and I do mean rigged to pull behind a Farmall Super C. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but it seemed like a good idea to save it. I'll probably set it up as a belly mower for either the Super C or my Ford 4000.
