Does anyone know where I can find a pair of needles for this baler?

We broke one of the needles in the middle, had it brazed together. Was afraid to weaken it too much by grinding the material down flush, so ended up with the braze material being about 3/8" high all around the break. Baler worked fine for years after that.

Might try your New Holland dealer, they seem to stock every other kind of old Ford parts.

Also, had the same problem with my old MF baler (2 broke needles). MF dealer wanted $135 apiece for the needles...found a good local welder (not run of the mill, but a fabricator kinda guy) who repaired both of them for $100. Year later, they're still holding together.

Local welder had jigs set up o weld needles, our work as good as before we forgot to time the baler. (Blush.)

They are kinda rare, but you can buy a whole baler for $50 or so around here of that model...
