Any substitute for a mini-digger?

I need to tidy up the yard and generally level out some of the areas round the farm. The builders have left me with piles of soil and brick ends etc. Is there any substitute for a mini-digger or back-hoe for sorting this. Would a soil scoop or hydraulic back box be up to the job? I've only got a MF35x (40HP, 2WD) tractor.
Thanks
Colin

Sounds like you want a box blade. With the scarifier (sp???) points to help loosen any hard high spots. It might take time, but assuming you enjoy tractor work & doing it yourself should be no problem. Good sized tractor for the work too.

A regular back blade could do the job and is more versitle for future projects. You have to make the call on that. :)

Collin,

You'll be surprised at how much dirt your tractor can move with a 6' 3 point hitch box blade! If the ground gets hard you can use a disk to loosen some dirt! May not do it quick, but with a little time it will get done!

A dirt slip will also help in moving dirt some distance, but you will be surprised at how handy the box blade will become!

Luck!
