N-news.com sells the operating instructions for this plow. Look under master archives.

Hey Haycreeker: I also have same plow serial number 85810. It's my understanding that these 10-1 plows were built from 1947 thru 1950. What is the diameter of the coulter disc's on yours? Mine are 13-1/2" but the book shows 15-1/2". HTH

I have a Dearborn Economy Plow 2-bottom 12" model 10-152 which has 13-1/2" coulter discs. The discs only came in two sizes: 15-1/2" and 18" in plain ( round ) or notched ( wavy edge ). The A/O manual says to keep the ground engaging parts sharp, so I'm sure they were sharpened a lot. I recently vaporblasted mine down and I could see that the edge was sharpened. Also, I'm sure they did a lot of work in their days. They were optional equipment, but if you bought a plow, you bought the coulters and jointers too.

Leroy, My front coulter is 13 1/2 inchs, rear one 15 1/2 inches! Got me wondering if that is original equipment, everything else is all in place, never been monkeyed with. Have you ever adjusted it using the cam adjuster? I'm having a hard time getting it plowing level with my Case tractor. Thanks again.

Anything that carried the Dearborn Name would have been made between 1948 after the split with Ferguson and 1954 with the last of the NAA tractors, with the start of the No. series, 600, 700, 800, 900 Ford droped the Dearborn name and just used Ford.
