i looked at a rake today, it had what looked like a spring tooth set up in front followed by a narrow blade and finally a rake of sorts, the gentelman called it a " rowland or rowman rake" it had a metal ford implement tag on it but was damage to the point that all i could read was "ford". if this is ringing any bells for anyone, id appreciate any info. ..... ... proper name or original intended use, that sort of thing would be appreciated. thanks in advance

its called a rossman rake.it's a good leveling tool, but takes a lot of practice.you could say it was the predecessor to the gill pulverizer.the one i have was bought by my dad in the early 50's.good luck
