I just purchased a John Deere hay rake model 350A. The part that holds the pulley which is driven by the PTO is broken and missing a part of it. I was wondering if anyone is parting out such a rake. I called the John Deere house and they said they could not get the part anymore. The part number is E12452E. I would appreciate any help.

I have an old 350 sitting behind the barn. I'll look at it tomorrow. I hasn't been used in 20 years, but I think that part might still be salvageable. Johnny Dyer

If Johnny can't help you, call a Deere dealer and ask them to check Dealer Parts Network. This is a company that buys obsolete parts from dealers, catalogs them, and sells them. I don't know if all Deere dealers deal with them, but I was able to get an axle bushing for a 596LW rake from them a few years ago. HTH, Karl.

The part looks to be O.K. although the berry vines hampered my investigation. I'll give you the whole rake if you'll come get it, I'll even load it for you. Located in Grand Saline, TX. Johnny

Thanks Johnny and Karl. I finally have been able to get back on the internet. I really appreciate the help you gave. I hope you got my email Johnny. I really would like to pick up the rake.
