Did AC build a small square bale baler or just round bale balers. What ones are suitable to be pulled by a AC B tractor if any. Ihave very little hay and this is a hobby.

I don't thing Farmboy or any others need smart-alic or sarcastic responses to serious questions. Some of us here are trying to get the most out of the equipment we have and are looking for some insight from others, not jabs at what they have or are trying to do.

:Farmboy: Yes, in addition to the rotobaler, A-C had other outfits build square balers for them. They worked well enough, but they never sold in sufficient numbers to be real common. If you come across one, either make sure it is real good AND real cheap or walk on by, because about the only places you will find parts are either salvage yards or auction sales. Next problem, all of A-C's square balers are going to be a real workout for your B.They are super little tractors, but they just don't have the oomph to keep a pto square baler going UNLESS you find one with an auxilary engine and the A-C balers were not offered with an auxilary engine from the factory. Good luck whatever you wind up doing. Tom.
