Does anyone have any info on a David Bradley wagon made for Sears and Roebuck? Just bought one; wandering what colors it should be, maybe how many were made, if it is worth anything as a collector item. Is there a good web site to check out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Darin

Sounds like they might have been several differnet colors. A neighbor bought a new one in the late '40s and it was black with green wheels. Actually, the manufacturer was Colby, not Cobey.

I have a D.B.wagon, it has about 18" high removable metal sides and a wood floor on a D.B. running gear, the gear has black pinstriping on the axle housing's the wagon is used to haul grain, or hay with the sides removed. It also workes good for hay rides. As an afterthought are the worth much? I don't think they were rare but I could be wrong

David Bradley wagons were built for sears by Cobey . They were red with green wheels The red is really close to Massey Harris red and the green is a light shade almost a perfect match is the deutz green if you can find it a lot of people mix J.D. green and yellow 50-50 to get the color. Pop has a cobey wagon that he restored and I have a DB hay rake that I am restoring to put back to work. T.J.

Some of the late 50's were lt. blue with white wheels. My dad worked at sears and got one of the last ones when they closed the farm store.
