I would like to look over a manual before I head to the field with this baler I just got. Could anyone email me a operators or owners manual, I can see paying NH $20(They get enough of my money through parts!) for something I read just once.

Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I must stand corrected! I called the 800 number and teh manual went up to $8.40. Am I bad or what? Anyhow, if anyone needs a manual for Ford, New Holland, or Versatile call 1-800-635-4913 and they can help you out. Don't know about teh Versatile but I have a catalog with those three brands of equipment for op manuals. Hope this is of help to everyone.

Thanks you to all who replied! I will have to look around and check out these $5.00 manuals. I don't mind paying $5.00 but $20.00 for acouple of pieces of paper just seems strange to me. I read the manual for my 77 acouple of times and memorized it, haven't needed it since: Thats why I don't want to give my $20.00 to NH for something I may only use once(At least I hope!).

I have no idea where all these $20.00 prices are coming from. I have a catalog for owners manuals that says they are $5.00, yes thats right 5 bucks. Email me if you would like the information and I'll be glad to send it too you.
I will need to know the exact model number.

The web site may have them at that price but the service publications catalog that I have has them at $5.00. I will call the toll free number and double check or you can too if you like. The number is 1-800-635-4913, and the operators manual for a New Holland 68 baler is 42006811 and for a S69 it is 42006910. Both of these are listed at $5.00. Unless for some strange reason they decided to go up $15.00 on them?????

Like Paul said, you will need the manual as long as you own the baler. Best $20 you can spend and you will probably save more than that on parts not broken because you know what to adjust. LOL

A baler manual is something you'll use more than once, there are a lot of adjustments on those buggers, and getting the knotters set right is a step by step deal. Not to mention timing it if the chain ever comes off.....
