I would price out replacement parts - anything the soil rubs on, WILL wear out. The shares wear out regularly, so expect them to be about used up, maybe $10 a piece to replace. But the shins (smaller triangles on front edge), molboard (the biggest part of the plow bottom), and landsides (the vertical part trailing on the side of the furrow) all should be in pretty good condition. If they are wore down, the value of the plow goes down. Can't really see this wear very well in a picture. Also looks like the coulters are wore down. The bigger they are, the better your plow will go through tough cornstalks, grass, etc. I would also look over the 3-point parts, as they wear also. Then, you need to see if it ever got bent anywhere in the frame, from hitting a rock. Some plows have shear pins or springs to 'break away' the whole plow, or 'trip' individual bottoms when you hit a rock. This is good, and these things should work (not packed with dirt, oversize bolts, rusted tight, or welded shut). Otherwise you will end up like Shep below, with his bent frame plow.... (Sorry to use you as an example, Shep - done plenty of that type of thing myself....) --->Paul
