Looking for some model numbers of New Idea corn pickers. I don't know to many model numbers of the NI lineup. I would like some form the 30's to the 60's. I would also like to know if they were mounted models, pull-types models, snapper or husker models, 1 row or 2 row models. So basically any info you know about New Idea corn pickers is welcome. Thanks!

#7 and #10 were 1 row pull-type huskers, late 40s-late 50s. #11 was a 2-row pull-type husker. 310 1 row pull-type came along in early sixties, the 311 two row wide was about the same time. Around 1970 the 323 1-row, 324 2-row wide, 325 2-row narrow and 330 3-row narrow pull-type Superpickers were introduced. They remained in production until the mid 80s. The 305 mounted two-row appeared in the early sixties, replaced by the 319 around 1970. There are more models, I don't know them all. Superpicker husking beds and sheller units had their own ID numbers, don't know all of them either.

Additions to my earlier list: The 309 was a one row pull-type snapper of the 1970s. The 319 mounted's husking unit was the 322, the sheller unit was the 315, and the hopper and elevator assembly was the 308. The 324 and 325 2-row pull type pickers could use the 326 8-roll or 327 12-roll husking units, the 314 sheller unit, or the 318 grinder unit. The 330 3-row pull type could used the 329 sheller unit or the 328 12-roll husking unit. Now that's why talking post-1970 New Idea pickers gets confusing!!!

We had a 6A and I have a 300 (yes, NH, no, not JD) which are 2 row wide pull-types, would fall into order of your models I would expect.

That should have been 'NI', not 'NH'. I have a New Idea 300 picker, has husking bed as did the 6A.

Stayed up until 4:00 last night looking at the meteorites.....

And weren't they beautiful. My 5 year old daughter and I got up at 4:00 and went and watched them for an hour. Be something we always have that we did together. Went out into the middle of the hay field and sat down.
