Blackhawk is a brand name used by the Arps Corp. on their equipment. If it was on the NAA it will also fit the 100 series and the 8N. (I have the snow plow version which can also be used on the 9N/2N tractors.) Was looking at the later version this past weekend that attached under the differential. It also has the hyd cylinder in front of the tractor to raise the plow. Good Luck

Blackhawk made both dozer blades and snowplows for Ford. Dozer frame was the same as the snowplow. The snowplow had trip springs in the blade mount to protect the tractor when the blade hit an obstruction. The trip feature could be overrideden for pushing dirt. Most of the Blackhawk units were for the 100 series tractors as these had more / better located mounting points on the bottom of the transmission and engine. Often to mount on a 53 NAA someone would weld a plate to the back of a later unit and bolt it to the mount for the swinging drawbar. In many cases this added piece covered the transmission drain plugs and led to neglect.

Black Hawk made implements for Fords. Go over to the Ford or Ford 8n board and ask. They have talked about these before. I think Ed Gooding on the 8N board can help.
