On the back of the share is the number, Take it to an older New Holland dealer that sold Ford a long time. All styles are available from cast suppliers through the dealer, except the quick detachable held on with a hook, those are on back order right now. The expensive ones are steel, but in rocks they will take it more. If you can't find any contact me.

Darwin, If you have what is called a fitted share,
Back in the ol' days, when a share wore back or down they were "drawn" back in shape by a "Blacksmith" they were heated cherry red, and hammered, or "drawn". The point was streached foreward and tipped slightly down to compensate for the ware that had taken place this could be done a few times before the share was considered scrap. Maybe you could do or have this done.

Take your old point off and carry it with you to the farm supply closest to you. Unless I am badly mistaken the standard 4 bolt point sold will fit. You will need to have yours to make sure the bolt holes line up. They may have to order the right size but I think they are still available. Call these guys at Agri-Supply and see what they can tell you at 1-800-345-0169. I am not associated with them other than as a customer.

I also have a 10-1. Sometime in plowing some rocky ground, I managed to break the tip off the forward plowshare. It still plowed, but wore off real fast. I finished the job, it wasn't pretty. I looked at several farm stores for replacement shares, but they no longer carried the right parts. When I contacted my local New Holland dealer, the parts man looked it up on his computer and they could order them. Then he said "I didn't know they made any that expensive!" I bought 1 share for $150 and put it on. Now I realize that I will have to buy another for the unit to work right, since the one good one I had is about half worn off and I can't seem to get the adjustment right for both plows to be at equal depth. $300 is a LOT more than I paid for the whole, working plow. If you can find somewhere that sells the right part cheaper, I sure would like to know about it.

Darwin,
You could also try on the Ford Forum if you haven't already. I think Dearborn was associated with Ford
