My daughter/driver will be leaving this summer so I intend to replace my MF 3 baler (and me on the flat-rack wagon) with a baler + thrower. Off the top of my head I am thinking about putting 8' sides on the existing flat-bed wagons, probably with cross-cable tie at ends and in center. Has anyone successfully converted flat bed wagons to thrower boxes?

If I understand you, won't you bust a lot of bales when they are thrown onto the cable across the middle of your rack?

Frank, WE did it with three wagons.used angle iron for bracing in the middle, hook to the bed, and made removeble sides on one. They don't hold more than eighty or so bales, they work great for us. good luck Craig
