I seen one in the trader paper here in E. Tenn. was asking 3500.00 also, don't know condition though, I called and he said it was in good shape.
Generally in this area equipment seems to be a lot higher than in the midwest.

That's cheap. Too cheap. A 1995 338 w/o thrower will sell for $8500 where I live. Bet it's been through more than 40000 bales. Gets me thinking what's really wrong with it? Assuming you can get 5 hours of baling time per day, you'll be able to do 2000 bales.

I agree. This sounds too cheap. Something seems amiss. I'd look this one over VERY carefully! I sold my 1990 model 338 last year to a neighboring farmer for $5500.00. It was in good condition and he was happy to get it for that price! Tim is right on baling speed. Up to 400 per hour.
