I need to have a hay buggie my customers can use to haul round bales themselves. Some of them have S-10s, and Ford Rangers. I can't always deliver when they need hay, and my buggie has to have a heavy pickup to operate it. That's ok for the ones with full-size pickups, but I need advice on this for a different buggie. Maybe someone has had the same problem. Thanks in Advance Barney

They are not that hard to make. I made one from a 3 point "fork" type hay mover and a mobile home axle. I put a 4x36 cylinder on it so I could move hay/feed hay with some of my older tractors without 3pt. I could easily make one to fit any type vehicle. I realize that the ones you want to pull with a truck would need to have a manual winch on them unless the truck was fitted with a electric hyp pump or maybe put an electric winch on it? Good luck.

Anybody seen the Quik Roll round bale carrier unroller on wheels. Great round bale mover for a small truck and you can unroll the bale when desired.

That is my little girl pulling the heap I built. Works quite well but it is hard backing it into/under a bale on the older tractors without power steering. With power steering you are OK. My IH 460 is easier to use with it. I still like my Molines.

You need a trailer type buggie. There are several different styles and designs, but they all hitch to a small truck and have two wheels and you pull them behind the truck. Most have a hand crank wench that you back up to the bale with the spear and hand crank the bale up onto the trailer. Tractor Supply here locally had a cradle type triler buggie at one time that did the same thing but was a different design. It had a cradle that you back up to the round side of the bale and insert two spears in each side of the bale and crank the cradle over and the bale falls into the trialer. Wish I had a picture of one to show you. I will look for one.

Shep, I posted a pic of my old MM UTS pulling a bale with one I made, you cannot see the buggy much but you can get the idea. It is on this web site under 1952 MM UTS.
