I'm going to an auction for my brother (he can't make it) and he wants me to try and buy that baler, if it looks to be in good condition. My question is, was there any problems with this model? I was just wondering if there were any kind of reoccurring problems that might be something to look for or a reason to stay away from it. We are probably keep our New Holland that we have now, so we can run two balers when neccessary. Thanks!

We had one, I think it was an 8570 though that we ran with a 5488, it was a decent machine, but man when you plugged that thing it was kinda hard unplugging it, but I guess the're all like that, the reason we got rid of ours is we were running custom with it and you can't be 15 places at once and that seemed like what it required and the road travel was getting high too.
