I see questions posted here about Ford 501 Sickle mowers. Here's a way to answer most of them. I'm not the seller. If I had a Ford mower, I'd bid on it. No bids yet as of 17:09 MST 2/25/01

New Holland sells very good reprints of the manual for less than the current price on that ebay site. I think I paid $7.50 for mine.

Their manual reprints department is at:

800-635-4913

and it took about a week to get it. This goes for all old Ford and Dearborn equipment, by the way.

Hi Tom

Thanks for the tip on where to get a manual for the 501 Ford Sickle Mower. I'm missing that spring that hooks to the top of the 3-pt hitch...
I suppose it would cost a small fortune if I ordered it new. Any ideas?
