Went to an auction today and bought a dearborn 1 bottom model #10-183. It is in excelent shape as owner had nice covering
of grease stuff on the important parts. My question for you is I paid $200 - am I a dope or was this an alright deal? Also
looked at a dearborn 2 bottom but it was just the opposite as far as condition goes - had rust hole in the front of both shares.
Seems as all the other plows I have seen for sale lately are going for a minimum of $250. I even thought the 1 bottom is slightly
better suited for my needs since it is just for a garden.

Does anyone know what the original color of the Dearborn plow was? Was it Ford red?
Thanks

I have a Dearboure 2 bottom that I am working with making it look and work like new again. I have many pictures and breakdowns of the assemblies. Let me know if I can help you. PS I paid $150.00 for my 2 bottom but maybe your tractor is better suited for the single rather than the double.

$200 was maybe a bit high .did it come with a coulter and a land slide. that is what made it higher.as for color ,it was darker than ford red. my father had a dearborn 2 bottom and still has a disc harrow.
