So, other than the one response that I received on the Garwood earth mover ... I guess that there is no one out there with any experience with these, eh?

Any insight would help ...

Greg

I have a neighbor that has a few Garwood Pans and dozer blades. Garwood was the main blade and PCU builder for AC crawlers. Like Letouneau to Cater pillar and Bucyrus Erie to International

Never even heard of one. Might want to try construction areas, like the crawler section here on ytmag, or even the trencher L-server, etc.

Using the actual name in your message subject also helps grab people's attention that might know something - 'earth mover' here on this forum is often a 3-point carry-all bucket on an 8n, so people who might know would pass your message by without seeing it....

Spice up your post with something like this, Gar Wood Equipment info wanted. You are also i think at the wrong page, you might do better at the crawler and dozer page, Historical Construction Equipment Club web site, or the Antique Caterpillar Web site. This page is mainly dedicated to farm implements such as plows and such. Are you the guy with the GW dump box? If so find some antique truck sites also. Garfield Wood, the first man to do 100 mph on water in 1932 with 4 Packard engine 6800hp, wood boat, weight;10 tons. Mike
