I live in Wales UK and have a Farmall C. I need to know how a plow is fitted to this tactor. There are very few of these tractors in the Uk and no information is available. Thank you.

DEAR LYNN

THE FLAT BOTTOM PLOW MOUNTED UP UNDER THE TRACTOR, THERE WERE PIECES OF FLAT IRON THAT BRACED THE MAIN HANGER THAT FASTENED TO THE CLUCH HOUSING. THE TWO DISK PLOW MOUNTED IN THE ABOUT SAME WAY. A CHAIN RAISED THE BOTTOM PLOW FROM A ROCK SHAFT THAT WENT ACROSS THE REAR OF THE TRACTOR. A ROD UP THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TRACTOR MOVED THE ROCKSHAFT FROM THE TOUCH CONTROL. HOPE THIS IS SOME HELP.

Lyn: I have the same question. Most farms in this area use much bigger rigs to plow so the best I can offer is to check out the manuals from this website under manuals. There is one: IH-P-IMPC,SUPC that I think lists about everything that can be bolted to a Farmall C.. Maybe someone can scan that page and post?? Nice to see your post. I have relatives in UK and am surprised to see you have a "C". I saw some pictures of MD's there and they had "BMD" decals. Does your C have the C or BC decal? Harvey
