45 loader

I went to a sale last weekend and bought a 45 john deere loader with a trip bucket not sprong for $45. and the sylenders are good. what i was wantint to know is do they work very good on a 620 tractor,did i pay too much or to little, are they very good loaders? thanks in advance. combine boy

They were designed for a tractor like the 620. However, remember that this loader was designed for picking up manure, not for heavy dirt and rock moving. I have seen good 45 loaders sell to collectors around here in New Jersey for 10 times what you paid for it. I know where there is a snow bucket for a 45, purchased new around 1960 and used maybe 5 times, and left in the shed since. It's probably too far away for you and the lady who has it probably won't sell it anyway, even though she doesn't have use for it.
