I know where a Massey Harris Clipper combine is along with a rusted out Allis Chalmers All-Crop combine and also another Massey Harris combine. The second Massey Harris is in great shape with hydrauilic header lift and rubber tires but is pretty rusted but no apparent holes. The other two are rusted out pretty bad and the Massey Harris Clipper has the header bent in a V! I don't know what happened to it but it is in a V shape. There are also a couple of small implements there too (manure spreader, drag disc, 2 row planter). The guy that has these is planning on selling them I believe. Small talk going around! If he does sell these how much would the set be worth? Also what would the implements alone be worth? One of the reasons I am so interested in these implements is because my grandpa owned all of these very implements at one time. They was all sold when he sold the land.

Thanks Adam Davis

best thing to do is wait for an auction in your area with similar items you are looking for and you should pick them up for a song and then keep looking around for extras for parts to rebuild them. but be forewarned old farm equipment is addictive !!!lol

Scrap value sounds almost high for this stuff! The problem we all face when we try and buy this stuff is some owners see not rusted junk under the trees but a brand new shiny whatever just like it was the day they bought it 52 years ago. And besides they saw one just like it in the antique parade last year so you know how valuable that it must be.

Again, I hate to say this about machinery, but old stuff like that, especially in derelict condition, is worth about $.04 a pound or less (scrap value) in this area.
