Anyone know anything about Haybob tedder/rakes? Can't find anything in the search engines. I'm looking for a tedder and found one of these cheap.

Try Google.com It returned 139 sites referencing Haybob. Mostly European equipment and farming sites.

Looks like you can buy one for L450 in the UK ! Shipping might be a bit steep though.

Haybobs are fine for grass but not Alfa-alfa as they knock the leaves off, with a Haybob the grass can be spread to increase rate of drying and then put back into rows of any width. One of the problems of the earlier models was the gates at the back were not strong enough but a lot have been sold in Europe.

Vicon was one of the main makers of Haybobs, but just about every major maker of grass machinery made Haybobs. It is basically two spinning frames with tines on that are thrown out by centrifugal force. They were sold in tens of thousands in Europe and really have stood the test of time, the other great advantage is the speed at which you could travel at.
