I am looking at purchasing a finish mower for my 2N. I have looked at Big Bee (cheepest ~$1,000) and a Sitrix. My DAD has a Woods but thats big bucks. Does anyone have experence with these or recomendations for others? I was thinking about a 60 or 72 inch.

I bought an almost new Woods 360 10 years ago. I have mowed with it and I have abused it. It still runs strong. Never replaced a blade but I have replaced all four wheels. I like the woods.

I found a used Landpride 60 inch finish mower that has done excellent. If you can find a used mower this may be the way to go. The used mowers don't seem to be abused like a bush hog or flail mower.

I've a 6-foot King Kutter that works fine. I've had it for 2 years now and the only sign of wear is from hooking it around a sign post and bending the 3-point bracket.

I also bought one new set of blades halfway through last summer.

The 6-foot costs just under $1000. A 7-foot costs around $1500 -- the 7-footer uses a different, more heavy-duty design.

Search the Ford N-Board using mower brand names and you will get a wealth of user and owner feedback.
