Hi, I have a 1940 Farmall A , 4 cyl 113 cid engine. I went to change spark plugs and they would not fit in a 13/16 spark plug wrench. Can anyone suggest what size wrench I'll need? and what type or brand of plugs to use to replace the old plugs?

Tom...I'm in NY and during the cold part of winter,I have to use a D21 plug instead of the D15 (which I do use in the summer). I don't run the tractor (Super A ) hard enough in the winter to be able to keep a D15 plug clean. They just foul on me even though the engine is in good shape.

Pete thanks I was wondering about the plugs cause right now there are d21 in there. I guess I'll buy both d21 for winter and d15 for summer. I plan on using the tractor in NE Pa to cut 20 acres of hay. I have a tow behind mower and a six foot sickle bar. The tractor will be idle during dec ,jan, feb, and march. Thanks Again Tom NY
