John deere plowboys i need help

I have 2 john deere trailor plows. One steel other on rubber .they both tend to plow with the tail wheel in the air.what is the best place to start.

Your hitch to the tractor is to high. It tends to roll the plow forward and pull the tail out of the ground.

You can raise the tractor drawbar or lower the hitch on the plow.

Probably the BEST place to start is with an operators manual, and get the plow adjusted for your tractor, without that, I'd say lower the hitch on the plow, the plates (John Deere calls them clevises)that bolt to the front of the beams will pivot up or down. Then the hitch support rod with the spring on it should be adjusted so when plowing there is about an inch of "slack" at the top of the spring. Are your points in good shape? try moving adjustments a little at a time until it works right for you. Good luck. Bob
