Have you looked at www.agri-supply.com? If you click on 'get a catalog' (or something like that) and look below the form to fill out with name and address - they have catalog pages online. Page 20 in the 11-20.pdf has some pics and descriptions of coulters, and page 21 in the 21-30.pdf file has more pictures. I've only used them a couple of times but they don't seem shy about shipping stuff.

Hope this helps,
Bob

Coulters are inter changeable between most plows. My experience in the past, Ford , MF , Oliver and maybe others have a smaller diameter shank than some of the IH and Deere pull plows however with the right clamp it doesn't make any difference. Usually the larger diameter cutter is better to cut through th trash as long as you have room. The center of the cutter should be ahead of the point of the share a couple inches and over in the land an inch or little more to leave a nice furrow wall.

Most coulters attach with a U-bolt and a notched spacer. They do not have to be brand specific. The key is that you can adjust it to be inline with the edge of the point and shin and that you can set it at a height that permits you to plow as deep as you want. I have seen JD and IH coulters on later model Ford plows. I believe the later Ford plows were made by Oliver.

Hello Scott. I don"t know the model. Only thing I can make out on it is the Number 276.

Curtis, I also have a Ferguson 2/12inch bottom plow that I do not know the model of the plow but I need a complete pair of coulters. If I had to make an educated guess of the age of the plow I would place it between 1945 and 1950. I thought the coulters between dearborn and Ferguson might be the same. I will watch your post hoping to learn where these might be purchased. Keith
