I just pick up a set of 10' hydraulic wheel disk. My 1965 ford 3000 diesel has single spool valve. The disk has two Hydraulic lines hooking to cylinder. How do I go about hooking this implement up. All help appreciated.

Best way is to run the extra line back to the reservoir if there's a way to connect it. That way you keep dirt out of the unused side of the cylinder. Otherwise get a "breather" cap that lets air into that side of the cylinder (replace the hose with the cap that has a hole in it). All you need is lift, gravity will handle the rest.

A single spool refers to the number of circuits, some single spools may only have one hose and pressure in one direction. Other single spools will have two hoses and pressure for extending and retracting the cylinder. Some valves also have a provision for letting the cylinder float (freely move in and out). In your case use one hose on your cylinder and put a breather plug in port that would normally retract the cylinder. When you talk about a 10' disk are you talking about a 28 or 32pan disk? That is a lot of disk for a 3000 Ford even with ballast in the tires. Have you used it very much? If it is too much of a load you can remove the outside disk on each gang. In the area where I grew up 24 pan/8' disks were the norm for a 3000. If the disk are worn down it will have a shallower cut and be less of a load. Good luck!
