I have a field in it's 1st full year of timothy. This year I have alot of clover coming up and it looks like I need to bale it before the timothy is "in the cup". How do I tell when the clover is ready to cut and bale?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

Its been a while since we've had clover on the farm but we usually let the clover come out in flower and at any time in that period it was ready to cut for hay. Good luck...Mike in Exeter Ontario
