Charles - I have a 10' IHC #37 transport disk. Mine was well used - had some busted disks, one wheel bearing was shot and hyd. lines needed replacing. I only paid $100 for the set. Cost me more than that to have it moved from MN to FL. Regardless, it was cheaper for me to buy and move than purchase a 10' 3pth set from a N. FL ag dealer to the tune of $1250!!So far I only have ~$250 tied up in parts for it. I also found manual for it on ebay $10. IMHO given the price I paid and the functionality of the unit it I did ok. Avg. price I have seen for them in the Midwest is ~$300-700 in good shape. I would hope your tractor has hyd. to operate it. Right now mine is operated using the "strong back" method (me manually cranking it up & down) until I can outfit my Oliver 550 Dsl with remote hyd. Another consideration is to find a set of fold-up disks. I have found these to be very, very reasonable in price. Had I found a set I planned to remove the "wings" and use the main unit. The "wings" would become a source of spare parts for the main unit. Just something else to consider. Reasonably priced quality parts can be obtained from Shoups 800.627.6137 (www.shoupparts.com) 1080 High Carbon Steel 18"/7ga. smooth disk = $15.38 ea for dozen or more. Reasonabley price import parts can be obtained from Agri-Supply 800.3453.0169 (www.Agri-Supply.com) 1080 High Carbon Steel 18"/7ga. smooth disk = $7.91 ea. PS - I would never go back to 3pth disc harrows except for small family gardening. I consider the finish work and field leveling to be superior on the drag type. Just my opinion. Still chuggin' in the weeds :)
