I just purchased a Hesston PT-10 haybine, I have read the many posts, but it was a price that looked good and it looks in OK shape, questions, where can I find a manual for this, and any specific instructions (besides junking it etc.) that you can give, I am moving from a MF 31 sickle to this, hopefully the drying time would be much better as I only have weekends to do hay, as I have to work another job to pay for my habit of tractors and horses..

Joe, drop me an email, i have a manual. i don't know what you have read, but i like the pt-10. and yes, i have cut with new hollands, the pt-10 is twice as well built. depending on the type of hay you're cutting, don't expect a great difference in drying. the rollers only crack open the hollow reedlike parts for drying. has little effect on leafy part.
