I'm really grasping at straws here - the label is more gone than here. Believe the brand may be "Schultz" and the word "Rochelle" are all I can make out, was red in color. It is a 5' cut 3pt hitch unit. Instead of the usual disk underneath, it has a large arm with two short blades. Blades are 14" long, 3" wide, 1/2" thick. Mounting hole is 3/4" in dia, and is centered 1 1/2" from the end. Actual cutting edge is about 7 1'2 inches long. There is a 1" offset about 4" from the mounting hole end. Took the blade into TSC, and they practically laughed me out the door. Obviously not a standard blade. Got the mower from brother-in-law, who got it abandoned on the realestate he purchased a few years back, so tracing it back thru previous owners ins't an option. Any ideas where I can get a pair of blades, short of having them made at the local blacksmith?

The manufacturer is LH Schultz Manufacturing of Rochelle, IL and Waterloo, IA. They went out of business in 1980, and someone continued to manufacture replacement parts under Schultz Amercan Ltd. in Janesville, IA. I'm not sure weather Schultz American is still in business. They also made manure spreaders, cultivators, and choppers. Some of the bush-hogs were also made for Sears. You might want to try them. Good luck.
